After being cleared of charges, Agent Catherine Bennett is driven to find the answers to what really happened to her boyfriend, as well as several killings that occurred in the area. Her quest for answers leads her to the Florida State Psychiatric Hospital where she meets Dr. Maximilian Burgante. Upon questioning Dr. Burgante, she realizes that a patient named Maxwell Tang may possess the ability to give her the answer she’s seeking.

 

Unfortunately, his unique disposition makes it difficult to communicate. However, what he lacks in communication is made up for with his drawings. He sees visions of the killings; drawing details from the images in his head. With the help of the boy, Agent Bennett is determined to discover a dark secret, but it may come at the cost of the young boy.
